Visa Information
The host country is Australia.
All international visitors entering Australia must hold a valid passport and an appropriate visa prior to travel. Visa requirements depend on nationality, purpose of visit, and length of stay. Delegates are strongly encouraged to check visa requirements early to allow sufficient processing time.
Most short-term conference attendees typically apply under one of the following visa categories:
- Visitor visa (subclass 600)
- Electronic Travel Authority (ETA – subclass 601)
- eVisitor visa (subclass 651)
Visa requirements and application details are available via the Australian Department of Home Affairs official website. Each delegate is responsible for submitting their own visa application and ensuring compliance with Australian entry requirements.
Need an Invitation Letter?
A proof of registration will be issued once the conference registration fee has been received. This confirmation can be used as supporting documentation for visa applications.
If a formal invitation letter is required, the conference organizing committee can provide one upon request. Invitation letters will be issued in PDF format and sent to the email address used during registration.
When requesting an invitation letter, please provide the following details exactly as they appear in your visa application:
- Full name (as per passport)
- Affiliation and designation
- Country of residence
- Paper title and paper ID (if applicable)
The organizing committee reserves the right to request additional information to verify invitation requests. Please note that the committee does not lodge visa applications on behalf of delegates and only provides invitation documentation.

- Free trams are ideal for daily commuting during the conference
Public Transport Beyond the CBD
If travelling outside the Free Tram Zone, a Myki card is required.
