Download the CFP in PDFThe IEEE International Conference on Responsible Artificial Intelligence (IRAI) will be held in Melbourne, Australia from 3-5 September 2026. IRAI 2026 is sponsored by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) and La Trobe University, Australia. The IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organisation of more than 500,000 members, dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore on‐line digital library.
The growing influence and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across industry, society and the economy calls for increased global dialogue on responsible design, development, deployment, and responsible adoption, use and application. IRAI aims to bring together relevant stakeholders, academic researchers, industry leaders, practitioners, policymakers, and students, to present research innovations, debate research challenges, exchange knowledge and experiences, and foster collaboration on the diverse topics of Responsible AI. This conference aims to promote best practice and encourage the development of AI that prioritises technical performance, innovation, impact, alongside ethics, safety, security, transparency, fairness, and accountability. By fostering global collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange, IRAI seeks to drive real-world impact by influencing research, practice, and policy. Manuscript Submission
Prospective authors are invited to prepare their manuscripts in the IEEE two-column format template. No other format in the submission and in the final version can be accepted. The IEEE two-column format template can be downloaded from this link. Regular papers are limited to 6 full pages and WIP papers are limited to 4 pages. This page limit including paper title, authors and affiliations, figures and references (maximum size 2MB). Author names must be included for single blind peer review process.
Access the IEEE TemplateManuscripts must be submitted to the “IEEE IES Conferences Community Paper Submission System” on or before the submission deadline. Each submission will be reviewed by three independent reviewers using a single blind peer review process, and will be screened for plagiarism and duplicate publication. The accepted papers are to be presented in the conference, and will be published on IEEE Xplore, subject to formatting and copyright requirements.
