IEEE International Conference on Responsible Artificial Intelligence

The IEEE International Conference on Responsible Artificial Intelligence (IRAI) will be held in Melbourne CBD, Australia from 05-07 September 2026

IRAI 2026 is sponsored by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) and is the flagship conference of the IES Technical Committee on Responsible Artificial Intelligence (TC RAI). TC RAI also organises the IES Generative AI hackathon since 2024.

The growing influence and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all industries and disciplines calls for a global dialogue on its responsible design, development and deployment. IRAI aims to bring together experts - academic researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers- from diverse fields of AI to present research innovations, debate research challenges, exchange knowledge and experiences, and foster collaboration on developing and adopting responsible AI practice. It will promote best practices and encourage the development of AI that prioritizes human well-being, equality, and sustainability. The impact of such a conference could shape global AI policies, ensuring a positive, ethical and equitable future for AI worldwide.

Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit papers on the following topics and related areas.
