IRAI 2026 will be held in person, on site in Melbourne. Requests for online participation are supported for eligible authors and participants — the same registration categories and fees apply. Please contact the Program Chairs at irai2026 [at] ieee-ies [dot] org for further information.

All fees are listed in Australian dollars (AUD), with the equivalent US dollar (USD) amount shown in brackets.

What Each Registration Includes
- Full Registration: Presentation and publication of manuscript(s), conference attendance (all days), copy of proceedings (digital), tea/coffee, lunches on all days, attendance to all workshops, and gala dinner.
- Regular Delegate (non-presenting): Conference attendance (all days), copy of proceedings (digital), tea/coffee, lunches on all days, attendance to all workshops, and gala dinner.
- Student Registration: Conference attendance (all days), copy of proceedings, tea/coffee, lunches on all days, attendance to all workshops, and gala dinner.
- One Day Only Registration: Conference (or workshop) attendance on the selected day, copy of proceedings, tea/coffee, and lunch on the selected day. Does not include the gala dinner if Friday is selected.
Paper Publication Requirements
Required for your paper to appear in the proceedings
Author payment, final PDF upload, and eCopyright submission must all be completed. Otherwise, the paper will not be included in the conference proceedings or in IEEE Xplore®.
- A full registration is required for an accepted paper to be presented and included in the proceedings.
- Student registration and single day registration do not count as a full registration for paper inclusion.
- Each full registration can cover a maximum of 2 papers.
- The page limit for an accepted paper is 6 pages. Up to 2 additional pages are allowed (see Additional Items above), for a maximum of 8 pages including additional pages.
- During registration, authors must provide their paper title or paper ID.
Early Bird and Member Rates
Authors who complete their payment by 30 June 2026 benefit from the Early Bird registration rate. Please refer to the fee tables above for full registration, student registration, IEEE IES member, IEEE member, and non-member categories. Online participants pay the same fees under the same categories.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to irai2026 [at] ieee-ies [dot] org.
- Refund requests must be received no later than 1 August 2026. Requests received after this date will not be accepted, and no refunds will be issued after 1 August 2026.
- A US$50 cancellation fee is deducted from each approved refund. Transaction and bank charges are non-refundable.
- Approved refunds are processed after the conference has ended.
Registration Transfer (Name Change) Policy
- Registration name changes are allowed without cancellation.
- The conference secretariat must be informed before 20 August 2026.
- All registration transfer (name change) requests should be sent to irai2026 [at] ieee-ies [dot] org.
